Nearly 1,000 local United Ways, including Green Mountain United Way, are partnered with FamilyWize across the United States to lower the cost of medicine by distributing free FamilyWize prescription discount cards. These cards are for all clients, as well as their family, friends, and neighbors. There is no registration, activation, health restriction or paperwork. It covers all FDA-approved drugs. It is completely FREE. Over 8 million people have saved through this program so far.
Who can use these cards? Anyone without insurance, with Health Savings Accounts and high deductible insurance coverage, for medicine not covered by insurance, Medicaid or other benefit plans, or anyone who has a family member or friend without coverage.
How much can you save? An average savings of 40%, or $20 per prescription.
Where can you use these cards? The FamilyWize cards are accepted at 60,000 pharmacies nationwide. Most local pharmacies accept them.
